RevUp Your Heart
You can’t fly to Heaven in a 747.
You can’t drive to Heaven your 911.
You can’t run to Heaven in your Nike shoes.
There’s just one way to get there; I’m bringin’ you the news:
If you want to win that Heavenly race,
You’ve got to Rev Up Your Heart!
You can’t find the way to Heaven on your GPS.
The Pearly Gates got no street address.
But the pathway to Heaven’s not so hard to discern.
Deep down in your soul, you already know which way to turn.
If you want to find that Heavenly place,
You’ve got to Rev Up Your Heart!
Don’t try to buy a ticket!
Don’t pack up the car,
’Cause though the journey takes a lifetime,
Heaven’s right where you are.
It feels so far away,
But Heaven could not be any nearer.
The one who will take you there
Is looking at you right in the mirror!
On the highway to Heaven, you can’t hitch a ride.
You’ve got to make your own way with your spirit as your guide.
The things you own will weigh you down. Cast them off from the start.
You can’t push your stuff to Heaven in shopping cart!
If you want to reach that Heavenly space,
You’ve got to Rev Up Your Heart!
Forget about a rickshaw or a Greyhound Bus.
Stay well away from those who say “Leave the driving to us.”
Put your own hands on the wheel. Pedal to the floor.
When your heart hits the redline, give it a little more!
Oh no, you can’t fly to Heaven in a 747.
You can’t drive to Heaven your 911.
Can’t strut to Heaven in those Jimmy Choos.
On the long road to Heaven, you’ve got to pay your dues.
If you want to feel that Heavenly Grace,
And put a smile on St. Peter’s face,
Rev Up Your Heart!
Hear your love roar!
Give it the gas,
And let your spirit soar!
You’re gonna’ win that Heavenly Race
When you Rev Up Your Heart!
