Some say that love makes the world go ‘round.
I find that a bit overblown.
When my lover’s away, it doesn’t ruin my day.
Sometimes it’s nice, just to be alone.

Though it’s true that it takes two to tango,
Some dances are meant for just one.
If no partner’s beside you, and you should decide to dance solo,
It could be quite fun.

All your whining about being on your own
Is something I just cannot stand.

Psychological health can be hard to maintain if codependency is your style.
If you think it takes a lover to make you feel good, take care of yourself for a while!
I went to see my analyst not too long ago, to heal the scars on my heart.

Well, I’ve got a good place to start.

I thought of going to the gym to shoot some hoops so I would not feel so blue.
But why should I go out to play with a ball, when I can stay at home and play with two?
